Posted December 04, 2019 08:15:22The University of Minnesota Libraries (UMPL) announced today that it is opening its doors at the newly renovated State Library of the New Mexican State at 2650 West Broadway in Albuquerque.
The bookstore will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The new location at the new state library also will include a dedicated gift shop.UMPL is the nation’s largest publisher of academic and other scholarly texts and is a leader in the field of digital library services.
It operates more than 1,500 libraries, and serves over 20,000 students.
The library is located in Albuquerque’s historic city limits, and the new location will have additional space for students to access its catalogs, materials and resources.
The building will be connected to the University of New Mexico campus through a new pedestrian bridge.
The newly renovated library is the second UMD bookstore to open at the State Library in New Mexico.
The university announced earlier this month that it will open a new campus bookstore at the old State Library building at 945 East Broadway in the university’s campus in Albuquerque, NM.
