A popular bookseller in Seattle, who is part of a local book-sellers group, is closing his store after two years of operating.
The bookstore in the heart of downtown Seattle was part of the Seattle Bookstore Association and operates a popular online store.
It is one of two stores that will close this month after more than four years of operation.
The group is not shutting down completely.
It will continue to offer the bookstore as a resource to local bookstores and to offer other events.
We will continue offering a variety of services and events for people to come in and see the bookstore and get a book, said Amy DeSouza, president and chief executive of the bookstore association.
We’ll continue to provide support for people who are trying to get a new book and some bookstores are doing that, DeSuffas said.
We’re doing our best to do that, she added.
